Why should my child become a tradesman and not attend college?
Not every young adult is wired to graduate from high school and then attend a four-year college. Some young people are neither motivated nor interested in completing university studies as part of their career development. By the same token, not every young adult is intended—or able—to work in the construction industry. Every individual has different interests that make him or her “tick.”
Some young adults are exceptionally fit and skilled for developing a career in the construction trades, and by providing you with information about the trades, how one becomes a craftsman, and the tremendous opportunities that exist for those becoming tradesmen in New Mexico, we think you can mindfully discuss with your child about the positives of considering a trade profession as a career option.
