Trade Up exists to provide young adults with information and direction about possibly entering and developing a career in the construction trades. If your child has an interest in a construction-related vocation, Trade Up hopes to help him or her as they explore options for a career in trades.
By providing your child with descriptions of trade professions, testimonies from currently working professionals and how they entered the construction work force, as well as information about the benefits and opportunities of working in construction, we hope to empower your child in making knowledgeable decisions about their future- and also let them know that great opportunities exist for them in construction. And, should you find in your conversations with your child that they are prepared to enter an apprentice opportunity, they can initiate their enrollment into the trades through the Trade Up website as well.
