“I grew up around the building trades. A friend of the family pulled me aside one day, while I was thinking about my career options.
He said ‘give me 30 days of your time, if you don’t like it you can walk away.’ Little did I know that as a result of that challenge, I’d get great pay and benefits as well as get my education paid for. Today, I am a certified journeyman, with an associated degree from Central New Mexico Community College, working as a Journeyman wireman, project estimator and project manager.
